We have many secondhand iron rod and mesh donated from university. Few of them are already become a pergolas and we have few left over. We decided to upcycled it. We reuse the rod and mesh for our fence and gate. Let me remind you that we are not a handyman or whatsoever, we simply do not want to waste on anything and we google/youtube a lot on DIY or HOW TO, using the material available of course. So if you came into our place perhaps you will find some of this and some of that, a little bit of this and a little bit of that…well, it’s our effort to use a junk or secondhand material for all of our building that we build ourselves.
So after one week, we finally finish making the fence and gate from scratch. We cut, we drill, we attach the rod…sometimes we re-measure it again and sometimes we fought each other on how to make this work. By the way this is the view to the valley right in front of our garden.
